Illustrations
I worked with pen and ink for most of my twenties (that's my happy place), but I slowly expanded over the years with watercolor, acrylic, oils, and now finally gouache. I've wanted to create cute, fun pieces of art for a long time, and I've finally put together a little portfolio. More artwork coming soon!
The Story
I've always dreamed of painting illustrations for children's books and I had all these great ideas in my head for years, but I never put them to paper. This year I decided I needed to take it seriously or let it go.

So I gave up. Haha just kidding, I locked in. I sketched, I schemed, I threw away a lot of practice paintings. But slowly I found my style and I found what I loved to paint. I love silly little characters in pretty little worlds, accidental mischief, and plenty of magic.
I started painting with gouache at the beginning of this year and fell in LOVE. It's transformed my art and gave me the ease to try new things and learn to trust my color instincts. Read more about my journey at this blog post.

The Mystic Squad finds a book with the power to raise a mummy. They take over the science classroom and cause a little mischief.
