The Story

Silvia has spent the last two thousand years doing exactly as she was told. As the Oracle for Tempest, the Goddess of Storms, it was her responsibility to interpret the Language of the Ancients and to deliver prophecies to the people of Norte. She had a room in the temple that was all her own. Just books and a cozy, warm nook far away from Tempest’s icy wind.

But when Demergat, the God of Floods and Destruction, convinces Tempest it is their destiny to expand their empire, there’s nothing Silvia can do to stop them. She sends her storms raging across the Continent, destroying homes, cities, and lives.

The last piece they need to take control is Silvia's powers. Silvia escapes Norte and leaves the safety of the only home she's ever known to find help. The only Deity strong enough to stop Tempest and Demergat is Thalassa, Goddess of the Sea, but she hasn’t been seen in a thousand years.

Silvia hires a marauder captain to help her find the ocean goddess’ temple. Captain Morrow is handsome and more reckless than she would like, but he knows the ocean better than anyone. His swashbuckling crew knows how to navigate deadly waters infested with monsters, mermaids, and violent mercenaries that are almost as dangerous as the sea itself. The Deities they meet along the way are violent, malicious creatures, and Silvia wonders if she's spent two thousand years serving a monster.

As she falls for the devilish mortal captain, she wonders if serving a goddess for all eternity is enough for her anymore.

Every clue takes them closer to the truth sewn into the fabric of their world, and Silvia is torn between the Immortal she has been for two thousand years and the human part of her she thought she left behind so long ago.

But her humanity may be the key to stopping a goddess.
