Social Media Tips and Tricks for Artists

Updated: Aug 29, 2021

If you're looking to improve your social media game, this guide is for you.

I want to make your life easier.

I don't want social media to be stressful for you. This should be fun! We're sharing our work, getting inspired, making connection! Yet sometimes it feels more like torture. I get it. So I want to make it better for you.

“This should be fun! But sometimes it feels more like torture.”

This year I made the first of (hopefully) many guides to help make your online presence cohesive, beautiful, and most of all easy. And it's not just for Instagram. You also don't have to be an artist to get so much out of this guide.

The Mini Guide is available for free to Collector's Circle members. When you sign up for the Collector's Circle, I send the link directly to your inbox! How cool is that? You can head to the bottom of this page, plug in your email, and get all the awesome free info right in your inbox.

What's in the guide?

The Mini Guide is now available on my website for free, and it has tons of juicy info like: when to post, how often to post, and the best social media platforms to utilize right now.

I talk about what it means to have a cohesive page, how to set up your calendar for success, and how I streamline my posting techniques to get the most out of every platform without being completely exhausted.

The things I talk about in this guide as techniques I've learned over years on the internet and exploring social media.

I've been here since the dinosaur age (Myspace. I know, I'm really showing my age), and I've got plenty to tell.

What's in the Full Guide?

This guide is insane. It is 45 pages of information. I tried to keep it short, but... it didn't really work out. But that's good! That means you can have even more

information!

It goes over everything from what social media platforms to use, how to structure your year, how to make posts in a meaningful, intentional way, and it details the system I use to keep my posts organized, cohesive, and beautiful.

It's also VERY encouraging. Check out the preview of some of the guide's pages below:

I'm going to be honest with you: this is not for first time artists. If you're thinking about sharing your work online for the first time, this might be a little overwhelming. Or very overwhelming.

This is for veterans who are working hard at creating a beautiful page but find that it's feeling more like running on a hamster wheel. I understand. I really do. So I included how I batch my posts together to make things easier, the app I use for editing my photos, the app I use to edit my videos, the app I use to arrange and schedule posts, and how all those apps work together to make my life easier. (Yes, they're all different apps. It's insane what you have to go through, isn't it?)

I also talk about photo/video storage, how I write my captions, and how to make sure that your posts are serving your art journey - not the other way around.

"We need to make sure your posts are serving your art journey - not the other way around.”
How can I get the Full Guide?

I'm releasing the Full Guide on March 1st, 2021on the Digital tab of my website. It will be available for download for $20.

For the amount of information in this beautiful, 45 page guide, it's so worth it.

I'm so glad I get to share all this wonderful information with you, and I hope it helps you as much as it did me. This guide would have made my life SO MUCH EASIER if I'd had it a long time ago.

If there's something else you would like to learn, let me know! I truly enjoyed making this guide, and I made it with you, my lovely creatives, in mind.
